MCU: Every Final Battle Ranked From Worst To Best

Iron Man is a great film, and as the film that launched the MCU and a good blockbuster in its own right, it's easy to forget that its climax was a bit underwhelming.

It's basically a standard robot fight, only with people in iron suits than actual robots. The special effects still hold up well enough, but the fight isn't anything special.

Obadiah Stane is yet another mediocre villain, and he's not menacing at all, at least not in that ridiculous armor. He's not anything more than a guy in a larger Iron Man suit causing chaos, and how he's defeated is actually laughable.

There is some entertainment to be had, though. Generic as it it, it is fun seeing the hero and villain kick and punch each other around, and since this was the first film in the MCU, it can be forgiven for having such a standard climax.

It's certainly better lit than The Incredible Hulk's climax was, but you're not going to remember much about this duel after the credits roll.
