MCU: Every Infinity Saga Villain RANKED

For almost a decade Thanos the Mad Titan was teased to us. And from the first trailer of Infinity War he was all we could talk about.

Thanos establishes his strength from minute one with a beaten Thor by his side, and then expertly dismantles the Hulk. He tears through the two strongest Avengers in the first two minutes of the film. It's a perfect way of establishing that the wait for Thanos wasn't over-hyped at all.

What follows in Infinity War is a story of Thanos gathering the stones one by one and encountering the Avengers and Guardians along the way.

Thanos is the main character of Infinity War. He has an arc and a purpose that is neatly laid out for us to understand. With Josh Brolin's somber voice, he calmly moves his way from scene to scene, and leaves a trail of misery behind him.

We almost sympathize with him in a way, even though his methods are questionable. But he is the focal point of the entire film and when he gets all six stones and snaps his fingers it's almost fulfilling.

The ultimate villain lived up to the hype and spectacle. Totally well-deserved.
