The Scene

The first mid-credits sequence comes quickly, before the credits really even start, showing Kraglin - pretty much the only survivor of Yondu's Ravager faction attempting to master Yondu's repaired Yaka Arrow that Star-Lord passed on to him after he died.

Hilariously, it turns out it's hard to master immediately as he accidentally stabs Drax in the chest with it and runs away cowardly.

What It Meant

Mostly that Kraglin is going to be a Guardian for the sequel (and probably Infinity War). He'll probably get the hang of the fin and Yaka, as he's already able to get it to fly, but that's less important.

Given how well Sean Gunn's performance comes across, this addition of him to the main cast (remember he calls Star-Lord "captain" so he's a willing team member) is a great thing.
