MCU: Every Single Marvel Movie Post-Credits Scene Ranked Worst To Best
20. Captain America: Civil War - Spidey's New Tricks
There's a big shout for Spider-Man's entrance in Captain America: Civil War being the biggest fan response of any comic book movie and also the best character introduction in the MCU on top of that. When that Queens location card comes up, audiences went crazy. Not in the UK, obviously, because we have manners in the cinema, but everywhere else.
It made sense, then, that we'd see more of Spider-Man, since he was Marvel's new blue chip commodity and seeing him playing around with the new technology Tony Stark gave him with childlike glee is lovely. It also establishes a thread that Homecoming would later pick up.
It doesn't really have a great deal of dramatic weight, but this was another case of just giving the audience more of what we want and that's no bad thing.
