MCU: Every Single Marvel Movie Post-Credits Scene Ranked Worst To Best
15. Guardians Of The Galaxy - Howard
Honestly, who would have thought that the return of Howard The Duck would have got quite as big a positive reaction as he did in Guardians Of The Galaxy after the George Lucas-sponsored abomination. But here we are.
The outrageous alien has now appeared in both Guardians movies - voiced by Seth Green - but his appearance in the first movie's post-credits sequence was one of the most surprisingly joyous moments in the entire franchise to that point. Most importantly, it also confirmed that Gunn's vision for MCU movies was a little out of tune with the rest of the franchise. In the best way.
The stunt casting was also a great choice (and followed the likes of Rob Zombie and Nathan Fillion appearing in secret roles). It was just a gag, so don't expect him to get his own movie, but the fact that anyone could entertain that idea now is all down to this scene.
