MCU: Every Single Marvel Movie Post-Credits Scene Ranked Worst To Best
5. Avengers: Infinity War - The Pager
After the emotionally devastating final moments of Infinity War, it wouldn't have been right to have too many credits sequences (particularly as it would have interrupted the beautiful score), so instead we just got one showing the New York perspective of the Decimation.
Not only do we see Nick Fury and Maria Hill, who confirm that SHIELD is still operational at their level, but this sequence offers a reminder that Thanos' snap actually affected "real" people and not just those in direct conflict with Thanos. That made it all a little more real.
And even more importantly, it also established that Captain Marvel was coming and that she was a big enough threat for Nick Fury to call in when the sh*t hits the fan. Even without seeing her, her hype was kicked up a whole other level.
