Here we are with the answer to a question nobody really asked: what do superheroes eat in the immediate aftermath of a major mission?

Calling back to a line by Tony Stark about a nice shawarma joint he knows in the climax of The Avengers, this hastily-added gag stinger saw the Avengers sitting around exhausted, eating kebabs. It's silly, but it does have a little backstory of note, since it was inspired by Angel episode A Hole In The World when Fred dies. After filming was complete, actors Amy Acker and Alexis Denisof (who also plays The Other in The Avengers) "went out for drinks and ended up just sitting around quietly, exhausted from the day's events."

It's also notable for featuring Chris Evans wearing a fake chin to hide his beard and for positively impacting shawarma sales in the wake of the film's release.
