The face of The Walking Dead may well become that for the MCU’s Fantastic Four, too. Although the Brit’s work hasn't been recognised with an award to accompany it as of yet, those who have seen Andrew Lincoln act know how talented he truly is, and his commitment to his craft is second to none. Lincoln is gifted in the sense that his formidable flexibility grants him an abundance of characters within the MCU to embody and explore.

Wolverine, for one, is almost certainly an individual who aligns within the Englishman’s wheelhouse, and the same could be said of Mister Fantastic. Not only does the 48-year-old share a striking resemblance to a more classic, comic-book take on the character, but the actor is an expert in leading a franchise and, perhaps more importantly, a team.

Reed Richards, for all his pros and cons, is a natural-born leader and values the lives of his family over his own, which will be familiar to that of Lincoln’s Rick Grimes. Although Richards and Grimes have their fair share of similarities and differences, both men identify as a father and put said responsibilities at the forefront of their priorities. Should the former Teachers star be given the chance to apply his trade, the MCU will receive a portrayal of Reed that fans of the source material know and love in the flesh.
