A large number of people are expecting at least one of the likes of Captain America, Iron Man and Thor to perish in Phase 3 - but Marvel Studios may well decide to throw audiences a curveball. For example, the absence of a solo Hulk movie in Phase 3 could mean one of two things: the Hulk is going to be propelled into space by his colleagues, having been deemed too dangerous, in preparation for a Planet Hulk/World War Hulk spectacle in Phase 4, or the Hulk could be set to perish. There are a number of new characters coming in the remaining Phase 2 movies - Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Vision, for example - and a number of new titular heroic characters in Phase 3. Don't be too surprised if some of those guys lose their lives in the epic battles that Phase 3 is set to play host to.
