Ever since the Infinity Gauntlet was first seen in Thor, since the Tesseract was first seen in the Thor post-credits scene and since Thanos was first seen in the Avengers mid-credits scene, an Infinity Gauntlet movie has been both expected and eagerly anticipated by fans. When the Phase 3 movies were announced by Marvel Studios, the movie(s) that people expected to be called "Infinity Gauntlet" actually turned out to be called "Infinity War". Infinity War is a completely different comic book story to Infinity Gauntlet - and one in which Adam Warlock's evil counterpart, Magus, is the villain and not Thanos. Does this mean the Infinity Gauntlet story isn't coming to the big screen? Or has it just been given a new name for the purposes of cinematic appeal? It's probably the latter, but fans are still concerned.
