MCU Phase 3: 10 Movies That Should've Been Included

9. Savage Land

Back in 2010 when Iron Man 2 became the third instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there was an Easter egg in the movie that has since become very high profile. A map was seen in the background of a particular scene which highlighted a number of locations on the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Earth. For example, Wakanda appeared to be highlighted and now there is a Black Panther movie on the way. It appears as though the Easter egg was foreshadowing potential future movies. Another map was seen - one that used to belong to Tony Stark's father, Howard - which was of Antarctica. At the time, fans believed this could either have been hinting at the location of the frozen Captain America or indeed the Savage Land, which is an artificial tropical location full of strange creatures and beings in Antarctica in Marvel's comic books. Following the success of Guardians of the Galaxy, another movie full of weird and wonderful characters would surely go down a storm and Marvel should have exploited that with a Savage Land movie in Phase 3 - especially given that it could have been used as one of the locations in Age of Ultron (given that it was where Nick Fury hid out in the Age of Ultron comic arc).
