The Illuminati are a powerful group of elite individuals in Marvel comic books who work behind the scenes to discuss and deal with large-scale problems. A post-credits scene, in any given Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, showing a particular group of characters talking in private would be a great way to notify fans that they exist in the franchise. In fact, it could be a cool way to introduce a character or two before they even appear in their own movie.
