MCU Phase 4: 10 Biggest Challenges Facing Marvel Studios

The last few entries effectively culminate in this challenge: the challenge of not burning out the fans.

With three series and three movies releasing each year, Marvel may soon find a fair amount of its fans watching less and less MCU content - due simply to the sheer volume of it. Combine the volume with just how much Avengers: Endgame felt as though it could have been the final chapter of the MCU as a whole, and burn out becomes a very real possibility.

Others may drop out from the same-y nature of the MCU films, with most boasting the same visuals, tone and even similar story beats. That's why it's so important to ensure everything genuinely feels 'distinctly different', as was promised when Marvel first teased Phase 4 a few years ago.

The MCU has provided so many with so much fun over the past twelve years. It would be disappointing if after all that, the fun was lost now.
