MCU Phase 4: 10 Major Marvel Heroes Who Must Appear
1. Fantastic Four
While it’s already been mentioned that the future of X-Men on the silver screen is still up in the air, Fantastic Four seem to be six feet under. The early 00s movies starring Jessica Alba have been consigned to DVD bargain buckets, and the Miles Teller-led reboot fared even worse. You might forgive movie-only Marvel fans for thinking the Fantastic Four are garbage, but done right, they’re arguably the best team on Marvel’s roster.
Mr. Fantastic’s stretching power and the Human Torch’s ‘Flame on!’ are wonderfully cinematic abilities, and The Thing has much more subtlety than Hulk while retaining all the smashing (or clobberin’) power. With the Invisible Woman, she has a power completely different to anything seen in the MCU, and would add to their growing stable of well rounded female leads.
Avengers and Guardians have already shown how successful team up movies can be, and if Marvel copy Spider-Man: Homecoming and skip the origin story we all know already, it could be a box office smash.
There isn't a shortage of scientists in the MCU, but Reed’s calculating nature offers something new to Shuri’s impetuousness, Tony’s arrogance and Banner’s reserved nature. Put them all in one place, and fantastic results are guaranteed.
