8. Champions
There are two main versions of the Champions: the 1975 lineup and the 2016 youngsters. The 2016 version is probably more likely to join the MCU, but it’s worth looking at both in case Marvel decide to mix and match.
The 1975 Champions are Black Widow, Hercules, Ice Man, Ghost Rider, Angel and sometimes Darkstar. Originally devised as a way to give less popular characters some extra footing, you can certainly see that reflected in the lineup. Ice Man and Angel are both smaller fish in a much bigger pond, and are more likely to be part of that team, to feature later on.
Black Widow is dead while Hercules will debut in Enternals and Ghost Rider may be too R-Rated, as well as the complications of his TV show arising.
The younger Champions of 2016 could be introduced though. Amadeus Cho, Kamala Khan’s Ms. Marvel and Nova (likely the full Richard Rider version, not the Sam Alexander one) could all debut in the MCU fairly soon. Thanks to licensing, Miles Morales is out, while it’s possible Shuri could take up the Riri Williams role and become Iron Heart.
Champions are greater than the sum of their parts, so could debut together.
