7. We’ll Visit The House Of M
Scarlet Witch is set for a bit of a shot in the arm in Phase 4, now the main female Avenger and no longer part of a set, either with Quicksilver or the Vision. She'll be joining up with Doctor Strange for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, but that feels like it'll be closer to Hulk in Thor than setting her up in yet another fixed duo.
One of the ways she could step out on her own is through the legendary House Of M arc.
House Of M is an alternate reality comic storyline where a depressed and rapidly unravelling Scarlet Witch has a psychotic break. This causes a shift of reality itself, one where only Wolverine has any memory of the original timeline.
In it, humans are subservient to mutants, and Magneto rules over all, with his daughter Scarlet Witch loyally at his side. Swap out Wolverine for Doctor Strange, and we could see a shortened version in Multiverse Of Madness. Depending on where Marvel go, it could be saved for another time too.
Introducing the concept of mutants in this way would be strange, but not impossible.
