MCU Phase 4: 10 Movies Marvel Should Include
6. Fantastic Four
The Fantastic Four are Marvel's First Family, and with Disney already in possession of their own proto-Four in the Incredibles, it's reasonable to surmise that Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben interest them more than the X-Men - at least for the time being.
Ant-Man and the Wasp director Peyton Reed has already spoken of his "dream" to make a Fantastic Four film for Marvel, and with there also being rumblings that the team are dominating conversation in the halls of Marvel Studios, it wouldn't be entirely unfeasible for a film to be fast-tracked and release sooner than many had predicted.
Yes, it's a long-shot; the Disney-Fox merger is still awaiting approval after a shareholder vote (however inevitable it may be), and Marvel's release schedule through to 2022 has already been mapped out.
But while that may be the case, it's never too soon to start thinking about the Fantastic Four, and with the door now open for their arrival, making it happen sooner, rather than later, would be the best course of action to take.
