MCU Phase 4: 10 Signs It Could Be A Crushing Disappointment
5. You'll Need A Disney+ Subscription To Keep Up
Is this a bad thing? Well, ever since The Mandalorian concluded, there haven't been a long list of reasons to subscribe to Disney's streaming service. It's full of great content, but if you're up to date on the likes of The Clone Wars and The Simpsons (not to mention Disney's back catalogue of movies), then it's slim pickings.
Subscribing for these Marvel TV shows isn't exactly a big ask, but you'll be forced to fork out money each month for the privilege. With the likes of Amazon Prime and Netflix still full of content, not to mention all those other streaming services, it's becoming expensive to be a film and TV fan.
That aside, in order to actually follow what's happening on the big screen, it definitely sounds like a Disney+ subscription is essential. WandaVision will lead directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, while the new Captain America will be decided on television rather than in a movie.
Are casual fans really going to do this? Will even those who are passionate about the MCU have the time and inclination to follow all these threads? Things could be about to get seriously confusing and hard to keep track of.
