MCU Phase 4: 10 Villains Marvel Could Use In Doctor Strange 2
1. Lilith
Lilith is truly one of the most intriguing characters in the magical side of Marvel, a being who has existed since the dawn of time (and seemingly before), Lilith is a master of occult magic the limit of which is still untested and unknown.
Calling Lilith an overpowering and intimidating Villain to possibly appear in the future of the MCU would be an incredible understatement, and that's exactly why the idea is so damn interesting.
Doctor Strange, even in his origin story before he ever dreamed of putting on a cape and casting spells, was always depicted as the smartest and most powerful man in any room. A time-travelling, future-seeing all-powerful Sorcerer who can hold back an ocean with one hand, the only way to raise the stakes for a hero this powerful is to pit him against a Sorcerer stronger than even he.
Doctor Strange is a character defined by failure and ignorance. When he was a surgeon, when he was studying the magical arts and even when taking on Thanos, Strange's hubris and human errors make this otherwise-godlike hero feel every bit more vulnerable. And what better way is there to amp up the drama than introducing Lilith, a villain who would make for the greatest challenge of Doctor Strange's life.
