MCU Phase 4: 10 Villains Marvel Could Use In Doctor Strange 2

While Dormammu's appearance in Doctor Strange was as a truly awe-inspiring and unforgettable villain, it was clear that the MCUs Doctor Strange would be exploring the lesser-known nooks and crannies of Marvel's magic world, with Dormammu perhaps appearing as a Thanos-esque mastermind behind Strange's various battles with Evil.

A way to keep the spirit of Strange's greatest foe as a presence in the MCU without directly involving The Lord Of Chaos would be to introduce Umar, Dormammu's sister and a sorceress who wields magic and cosmic energy just as great as her infamous brother.

A long-standing villain of Doctor Strange, Umar has one of the richest histories in Strange's rogues' gallery, second only perhaps to Baron Mordo and Dormammu himself. Perhaps her most significant contribution to the history of The Sorcerer Supreme comes in the form of Clea, the daughter of Umar born in the dark dimension, who would later go on to marry Strange and become one of the Sorcerer Supreme's greatest allies.

While this may be a story far too contrived for even the MCU, the rich history of Umar and her standing as one of Doctor Strange's greatest enemies would be an injustice to ignore - and hey, maybe it will lead to the Marvel wedding we've all be waiting for?
