MCU Phase 4 & 5: Every Confirmed (And Teased) Project Ranked By Hype
5. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness
Release: May 7th, 2021
It feels like a long time since Doctor Strange came to the MCU (and even longer since Kevin Feige first expressed his desire - as a fan - to see him there), but now Strange will follow up his appearances in Thor: Ragnarok, Infinity War and Endgame with his second stand-alone movie. And this time he's not coming alone.
Thanks to the implications of the multiverse title, it would appear that rumours of Nightmare's involvement might be spot on and Strange will be teaming up with Scarlet Witch for at least part of the story too. What price on Nightmare trying to manipulate her vulnerability to weaponise her against the Sorceror Supreme?
Add Chiwetel Ejiofor's return as Mordo and the inevitable appearance of Wong and it's a great mix for what Scott Derrickson is rather excitingly calling Marvel's first real horror movie.
