Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest stars on the planet, and it's been clear for the last few months now that the ex-WWE man has been flirting with Marvel. Yes, he's been attached to the part of Black Adam since god knows when, but the prospect of him joining the MCU is one both the actor and Marvel are sure to appreciate.

According to Roger Wardell, who accurately predicted key details from Endgame including Thor's weight-gain, Johnson is merely trying to "build hype" in order to get face-to-face with Marvel. The main point here, of course, is that The Rock is interested in working with Marvel, and is clearly not content with eating up the box-office with just Fast & Furious and Jumanji.

Whether or not that meeting has been forthcoming in the week since Wardell's Tweet is clear, but it wouldn't be a huge surprise to learn that Johnson is angling for a Marvel move all the same. Production on Black Adam has remained static for a good while, and the MCU is practically unstoppable at this point.

As for who he should play? Well, he already portrayed Hercules once before - who's to say he couldn't do it again?
