7. We Will Learn About Natasha’s Background
Johansson wants to explore Natasha’s background, which is exactly what we expect from Black Widow. However, it’s still unclear what the film will focus on as the plot is currently being kept under wraps.
Back in 2016, Johansson said: “[Natasha]’s got a really rich origins story. There’s a lot of places you can go. You can bring it back to Russia. You could explore the Widow programme [...] You could really uncover the identity of who this person is, where she comes from and where she’s part of.”
We’ve learned parts of Natasha’s past, particularly in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron, but there’s still a lot we don’t know about her. It seems Black Widow may explore Natasha’s time in Russia, especially during her training.
