MCU Phase 4: Predicting Every Unannounced Movie
7. A-Force
A-Force might be a relatively new team as far as Marvel's concerned, but they've certainly managed to make an impact in a relatively short space of time.
With Wonder Woman having galvanised efforts to make women-led comic book films the norm, reports emerged last October that Tessa Thompson, Scarlett Johansson and the rest of Marvel's leading women had pitched the idea of an all-female to studio head Kevin Feige, with a decision on the project yet to be finalised.
Hopes of such a film actually happening only increased in the months afterward, with a snap of Zoe Saldana, Brie Larson, Evangeline Lilly, Karen Gillen, Danai Gurira and Pom Klementieff only adding fuel to the A-Force fire. That comic - centred around She-Hulk, Captain Marvel and the rest of Marvel's leading ladies - is a relatively new creation, but if a film of this type were to be made, then it's likely that Marvel would follow that title for inspiration, at least in its branding.
Thompson has been particularly vocal about the project on Twitter, and while Marvel have given little encouragement that such a film is in the works, there's a good chance that it'll happen if there's enough behind-the-scenes pressure, as well as a healthy helping of fan demand.
There's also the fact that an A-Force film is a killer idea, so that's reason alone for Marvel to run away with it.
