Somehow, everyone seems to have missed the point a while back when Ty Simpkins' Endgame casting was confirmed by IMDB, because his appearance at Tony's funeral service came as a massive shock to a lot of people. Not least because Simpkins now looks absolutely nothing like he did in Iron Man 3.

There was some suggestion that he had been cast as a potential replacement for Iron Man, but that's unlikely and even with that weird sound effect stinger after the credits, it definitely feels like he was only brought in as an Easter Egg.

Next Up: Nothing

There's little chance he's got a future in the MCU.

1. The Ancient One

Status: Dead

While time means nothing to The Ancient One (and to the writers of Endgame AMIRIGHT GUYS?!), her death is a fixed point that she cannot advance beyond. So even though she appears in Endgame it's before her death in the time travelling sequence and that's the end of her.

Her death in Doctor Strange is still her death in this timeline, unfortunately for fans of the performance, so don't expect to see her again.

Next Up: Nothing

Bar an appearance in any of the shows set before Doctor Strange in the timeline or as a vision in Doctor Strange 2, it's a fairly reasonable assumption that Tilda Swinton's time in the MCU is now done.
