That's not to say that there will be zero presence of a Spider-Person in Phase 6. Peter Parker may be the first Spider-Man, but he's far from the only dynamic character to do everything a spider can. Once Parker bows out, the MCU needs a new Spider at the center of their web.

While Miles Morales is inarguably one of the Marvel characters most deserving of an MCU introduction (we'll get to him later), the MCU should negotiate the rights to use one of the female Spider characters in Phase 5, too.

Jessica Drew is an appropriate choice and Marvel could easily modify her origin to streamline her introduction. Although Spider-Woman is much more than a simple gender swap, having a female act as the new "Spider-Man" brings enough contrast to help general audiences (and even the MCU world) quickly accept that this is character is not Peter Parker nor is it just another male character taking over the moniker, ala Sam Wilson as Captain America.

Silk could be a worthy successor to Peter Parker as well, especially since it introduces more diversity into the MCU, but Spider-Gwen would also be a reasonable selection given her popularity in Into The Spider-Verse.
