Regardless if Tom Holland appears in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Phase 5 is the perfect opportunity for a symbiote to bond with Spider-Man.

The MCU has an opportunity to explore a story with Peter Parker in the symbiote suit in a new way, especially if Parker is featured in the Sony universe but Venom is not (immediately) given an invitation into the MCU.

Although it's a departure from the comics, it's not hard to imagine Peter Parker coming into contact with one of the symbiotes that landed on Earth in Venom. Yes, it might mean that the Venom symbiote and Parker's aren't one and the same, but that doesn't mean an equally compelling story can't be written.

From Spider-Man: Homecoming to Spider-Man: Far From Home, the trauma and loss Parker has endured gives him every reason to be vengeful. A dangerous and violent symbiote Spider-Man, who naturally redeems himself in the end, could be a fitting MCU finale for Peter Parker.
