MCU Phase 5: 12 CONFIRMED Movies & Release Predictions For 2022-23

Status: Confirmed

As well as turning up as part of What If...? (along with Michael B Jordan's returning Killmonger), T'Challa will come back to the MCU movie slate as part of Phase 5. He was one of the characters specifically mentioned by Kevin Feige in his closing Comic Con statement, but it's not like we didn't know this already.

The first movie was phenomenally successful - to the tune of $1.3bn in fact - and its success with fans was even more important. This was Marvel's first real statement of representation and the response was as wonderful as it was inevitable. So more of the same will be coming, including the returns of Chadwick Boseman and Ryan Coogler.

Beyond that, all we have is a vague hint of Namor possibly appearing - thanks to that Endgame "underwater Earthquake" tease - and the likelihood of Coogler further exploring what T'Challa revealing Wakanda will mean to his enemies.
