MCU Phase 5: 12 CONFIRMED Movies & Release Predictions For 2022-23

1. X-Men

Just as we know the Fantastic Four are coming, so too do we know that mutants will arrive in the MCU too sooner rather than later.

If the theory that Doctor Strange: Into The Multiverse kicks off a reality-changing event that brings mutants to the main timeline, then having the X-Men - or at least a group of mutants - appear in the MCU in Phase 5 to set up their movies from there makes a lot of sense.

Quite whether Marvel will go with individual stories at first is a matter for speculation, but it would also make sense that their arrival is dealt with as an event and that this becomes the de facto Avengers movie of Phase 5, with the heroes coming together to explore who they are and where they came from. And if Marvel want to call that Avengers Vs X-Men, they'd probably guarantee themselves an extra few hundred million at the box office.
