6. Ronan The Accuser (Lee Pace) - Captain Marvel 2

Just as Talos and Soren are all but confirmed because their stories cannot continue to where they are in the MCU present without some more things happening, so too does Ronan the Accuser.

Even though he was probably the weakest thing about Captain Marvel, we know from his appearance in Guardians Of The Galaxy that there's an interesting story in his past that sees him change his focus from hunting Kree to wanting to destroy Xandar. When we meet him in Captain Marvel's solo movie, the Kree and the Xandarians have already been at war for thousands of years, for him to shift his focus to that rather than his "job" hunting Skrull suggests that there's more to happen.

And to confirm that a little more, he ends the first film basically retreating but clearly still intent on keeping an eye on Danvers and the Skrull.
