Quite recently, someone claiming to be an insider on Avengers: Endgame made the off colour claim that Tony Stark was going to get involved in time travel and alternate dimensions in the fourth Avengers movie and would somehow reappear as Kang The Conqueror after absorbing the power of the Infinity Stones.

All profoundly wrong predictions aside, there's a reason Kang's name pops up in theories like that: he's on that A-list of Marvel villains already mentioned. His link to time travel could also be the key to his Phase Four appearance in the MCU too, as Marvel have a habit of revisiting the sins of the father on their superheroes: in other words, pretty much anything the Avengers do (as a team or individually) ends up leading directly to a villain's appearance or some other retribution. Cause and effect in this universe is very tightly plotted.

What price on Kang's appearance being introduced as a direct consequence of the Avengers unlocking time travel? He probably wont be a future Tony Stark in disguise, but that sort of approach absolutely suits both the character and Marvel's approach to story-seeding.
