5. Cyclops (And The X-Men)

The X-Men are coming to the MCU sooner rather than later. Quite how that story will unfold is anyone's guess at this stage, but it's as certain an inevitability as there being an Avengers 5. Again, as with Spider-Man, Marvel will probably be tempted to try and avoid repetition, so we can probably assume that the first mutant-focused ensemble films won't be the story of Magneto and Professor X primarily and that they won't focus too heavily on Wolverine.

One thing Marvel could - and probably will - do is restore Cyclops' status as the traditional leader of the group after he was cuckolded and turned into a grumpy jock by Brian Singer, whose fetishism of Wolverine pushed his romantic rival to the side. Cyclops was poorly treated in that franchise (and is a little dull in his new guise, to be honest), and it's time to right those wrongs.

Marvel pushing him as the leader of a new X-Men group (or indeed someone like Storm) and not making him a needless rival to Wolverine again would make a lot of sense and he absolutely fits the Captain America of the X-Men sort of role.
