MCU: Predicting 25 Movies Marvel Will Make After Phase 3

The Film

Decades after it was initially planned (well before Marvel Studios was even a real thing), a solo movie for Scarlett Johansson's excellent Black Widow is now long overdue. It's almost a shame the movie hasn't been announced now, because Widow being underground at the end of Civil War is the perfect launching point for her solo adventure.

Still, there's a raft of comics to look at for her.

Any Evidence?

Well, Kevin Feige seems intent on confirming that a Widow movie is very much in his immediate plans, so that's about as close to a confirmation as we're likely to get before it happens.

Any Groundwork?

Lots: the revelation of her murky past in the first Avengers is an intriguing angle and would form a strong story basis, and then there's the further revelation in Civil War of her Red Room origin (and the other Widows) means there's lots of unexplored story there to populate a stand-alone.
