9. Thor: Ragnarok

When the big Spider-Man announcement arrived early this year, it changed around a number of release dates for the other films already set for Phase 3. Originally planned for release in the summer of 2017, Thor's third solo outing was pushed back to November, meaning all the questions still lingering from 2013's The Dark World and this year's Age of Ultron will now have to wait just a few months longer to be answered.

Last we saw the God of Thunder, he was returning to Asgard to investigate the sudden reemergence of the Infinity Stones. Couple that with the fact that Loki is still presumably masquerading as Odin and that the very subtitle of Ragnarok has fans' heads spinning about what it could mean for the MCU and for Thor's continued existence in it and the third film has a lot on its plate.

With so much to tackle, there's little doubt that the film will play a huge role in reshaping the MCU in advance of Infinity War. Hopefully, Ragnarok will prove to be what The Winter Soldier was to The First Avenger in ways The Dark World never quite was to Thor's first adventure.
