Far From Home included a subtle tease regarding Mysterio that not too many have dwelled on. Justifiably, of course, given the gravity of both post-credits sequences - but it's worth discussing all the same.
After Beck's death on Tower Bridge, his associate William Ginter Riva downloads the remaining Mysterio software and what looks to be around 500 or so drones. Now this could confirm that William himself was behind the ending footage, and it could also even potentially hint that Mysterio will - like he was in the comics - be a legacy villain of sorts.
It wasn't just Beck who donned the identity in the source material, and although William was included as a neat throwback to the first Iron Man, it might be wise to expect him - or at the very least the Mysterio identity - to play some sort of role in Spider-Man 3.
