MCU Spider-Man Movie Wishlist: 5 Things We Want To See

4. Don't Make It Glamorous

Spider-Man€™s world should not be pretty. I don€™t mean that his version of New York City needs to be gritty and dirty; I mean that, ironically, his experience should be anything BUT amazing. Spider-Man is not the Man of Steel: he shouldn€™t tear open his shirt and reveal his iconic chest symbol like Superman does; he should stumble and trip over his jeans while getting changed in some alley. He should come back to where he stashed his street clothes and find they€™ve been stolen by a homeless person. When his costume gets ripped we should see him having to sew it up with needle and thread himself; he shouldn€™t just appear in the next scene with a perfectly restored suit. Peter Parker is supposed to be a poor, working class guy and his heroism should reflect that.
