As these alternates looks at the Iron Spider suit for Avengers: Infinity War shows, there was some consideration to give Peter Parker some pretty cool looks, including one Venom-inspired costume and one far closer to the comics version of the Iron Spider suit.

Some of the designs were pretty damn cool and it's a shame we didn't get to see them. Particularly as the more understated designs are vastly better than the more garish blue red and gold of the final film.
