MCU: What Happened To Everyone Who Held The Mind Stone?
7. Wolfgang Von Strucker
After the Scepter was taken by the Avengers, it was stolen by agents of HYDRA for use in their experiments. The events that showed how this happened were not played out until Avengers: Endgame, but by Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Scepter was in the hands of Wolfgang von Strucker.
He wasn't shown using the Scepter in the film, but he was the one chiefly responsible for what it was used for by Hydra. The scientists of the evil organization used the power of the Mind Stone within the Scepter to create superpowered beings.
This resulted in the creation of Wanda and Pietro Maximoff's superpowers. The twins were able to use their powers to attack each of the Avengers, but they would ultimately be brought over to the side of good through the course of the film.
Hydra didn't retain possession of the Scepter and Mind Stone for long thanks to the opening scene in which the Avengers successfully raided their compound. Tony Stark managed to take back the Mind Stone, but he didn't wield it at the time. Instead, he used it with the help of Bruce Banner to create the sentient program that would evolve into Ultron, the next holder of the Mind Stone.
