Men In Black 4 Announced: 10 Ways To Make It Not Suck

Cover Image It€™s official. Another sequel nobody was asking for has been green-lit. Men In Black 4 will be written by newcomer Oren Uzeli. What are the chances it will be good? Little to no chance. Still, Men In Black 3 was a vast improvement on its predecessor. All inevitable time travel plot holes aside, the film was bursting with funny jokes and had a surprising emotional touch. It wasn€™t great. But it was entertaining enough that I believe there is a little hope for the sequel to be worthwhile. A little hope. After all Uzeli has been hired to write the Mortal Kombat adaptation and the forthcoming sequel to 21 Jump Street as well. Clearly Hollywood has some faith in him. Men In Black 3 got a lot of things wrong. But in many ways it was on the right track. Men In Black 2 got almost nothing right and turned into an outright parody of the first entry. So what is it that Men In Black 3 did that helped distance it from that train wreck? That€™s what I intend to discuss; and, on the way, I will point out some mistakes that the franchise needs to avoid making again. A quick honourable mention has to go to Josh Brolin who I€™d very much like to include on this list. However, in order for young Agent K to return we€™d need more time travel, which is not such a good idea. This series has enough plot holes already, thank you! Here€™s what I think needs to happen to stop this sequel from smelling like the expired concept it is.
