Michael Myers vs. Freddy Krueger vs. Jason Voorhee's

freddy.jpgI'm sure I'm no different to any other of you guys. I too got burned back in 2003 when Freddy vs. Jason came out. Seeing those two iconic horror icons go at it wasn't something I ever thought I wanted to see until the project was first talked about in the late 90's. It soon became the project I HAD TO SEE...... then of course when it did come out it sucked. The dream was over..... the franchises dead. But of course in the world of restarts and reboots, it didn't take long until rumblings about a Friday the 13th remake. Freddy Krueger himself Robert Englund also has been desperate to get another Nightmare on Elm Street movie off the ground, likely for the big pay check. Englund has revealed to MTV, that we may seen another "dream match" of horror icons on the big screen. He says that although a prequel script for a Krueger story is being branded around studio's, it's a Myers vs. Krueger vs. Voorhee's that we might see next. Get this, JOHN CARPENTER is in talks.... "We were going to do it with Ash from the 'Evil Dead' movies" But..... "Sam Raimi, now that he has all his 'Spider-Man' movies and all that money, I'm sure he's going to remake 'Evil Dead.... I think that's what him and ] Bruce Campbell wanna do". Another big pay check for Carpenter then! It's really hard to imagine another Michael Myers being directed by Carpenter for a team-up flick, when Rob Zombie's got his own version coming out. However, let's just say it was true. Carpenter hasn't directed a passable movie (let alone a good one) in over a decade, and we know Freddy vs. Jason turned out to be the biggest load of crap of all time. The film wouldn't work, they should all stick to their own series.... end of story. I shall not get burned again! source - mtv, moviehole
