Skazochnoye Puteshestviye Mistera Bilbo Begginsa Khobbita is the Soviet take on The Hobbit and shows just how sloppy an adaptation of Tolkien can be.
The plot is greatly reduced, the focus kept entirely on the dwarves quest.
On the one hand, as Russian children's special, it's hard to judge it too harshly. On the other it's a terribly acted exercise with shocking special effects that make it look like a cheap amateur stage production (which is basically is).
