6. That Cringe-Worthy CGI Dove (M:I2)

If you've seen a couple of John Woo movies, you're probably aware that the director has a borderline-fetishistic obsession with including doves in his films, with it being one of his most distinctive directorial signatures.

However, Woo took things a little too far in M:I2. Though numerous actual, live doves appear during the third act, he also had the VFX team cook up a digital dove to fly through Ambrose's base after Ethan makes his fiery entrance.

It's a moment so laughable and embarrassing it almost feels like Woo is riffing a parody on himself, but then you watch the rest of the movie and remember that's clearly not the case at all. Oof.
