Mission: Impossible 6 Is Coming, Whether You Choose To Accept It Or Not

Ethan Hunt will return. Soon.

It's only been out a few days, but it's fair to say Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is already a massive success; it's received undying critical praise, notching up 93% on RottenTomatoes, and exceeded all box office expectations to bring in over $100 million worldwide. You can expect us to be talking about it for many weeks to come. Unlike Universal, who waited until Jurassic World was bowing out in cinemas before announcing a fifth dino-adventure, Paramount are capitalising on that immediate popularity, with a sixth M:I entry (insert Mission: Probable joke here) already getting into gear. On The Daily Show Tom Cruise said "We're starting to work on it now. We'll probably start shooting it next summer," which was followed up by some more official word from Paramount Pictures' vice chairman, Rob Moore, who told Variety, "We€™re very happy to be developing this movie with Tom. There€™s no question that Ethan Hunt deserves another film.€ I thought Rogue Nation was a brilliantly fun movie, a genuinely exciting experience in a summer full of forced entertainment (full review coming later today), so personally can't wait for another instalment. What do you think? Should Ethan Hunt take some well earned rest, or should Cruise keep going until M:I classes as geri-action? Share your thoughts down in the comments. Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is in cinemas now. Mission: Impossible 6 will be released in the next few years.
