Every blockbuster needs to be quippy and make ham-fisted pop-culture references these days, right? And Morbius is certainly no exception, though namedrops a film surely nobody could've ever expected.
When Michael meets up with Milo (Matt Smith) in the present day, the two go for a walk around New York City, and at one point their discussion turns sentimental, to which Michael replies, "If you start quoting The Notebook, I'll turn around and the limp the other way."
In a film that so often feels like an aged product of the early 2000s, it's hilariously ironic that its most memorable pop-culture touchstone is a romantic drama from 2004.
