4. The Music Choice

What set the Morbius trailer apart from just about every other grim movie in its genre was its overall presentation.

Beethoven's Für Elise was an inspired choice of music for the piece as it created an atmospheric feeling throughout the whole trailer that lent itself nicely to the Gothic tone it was going for. It could have gone down the angsty tortured vampire route, and added an alternative punk rock song to boot, but it didn't.

Instead, we have what appears to be a classic vampire-like tale - one that ultimately benefited from the classical music. Whether or not the film lives up to that remains to be seen, but as of right now, the trailer nailed it.
