More footage from the set of The Dark Knight
AGAIN SPOILERS, READ NO FURTHER... SKIP ARTICLE... IF YOU WANT TO STAY 100% PURE.... We have more footage from the set of The Dark Knight which we now believe has finished it's first session of filming in Chicago, before moving over to the U.K. for stage 2 of shooting. In the video below you will find some great footage of The Joker's henchman who are involved in the bank heist scene which we think will open the film. No sign of Heath Ledger yet, but you have to believe he will be in this scene so it shouldn't be long until we see a proper full image of him on set. We also have a school bus stuck into the building, some smoke coming from the top, a great image of Christopher Nolan directing traffic whilst shooting a small scene with two henchman and some other juicy goodness. This is great footage and I hope when they are filming in London we get as lucky as this to see more stuff. One question.... we believe the movie is going to start EXACTLY where Batman Begins left off (the rooftop scene, you know... "a homicidal maniac, a thing for theatrics, he has a calling card") and begin with this heist. THERE IS NO MENTION OF THE JOKER BEING SCARRED OR ANYTHING in that scene, so do you think Nolan will decide to shoot Heath Ledger as a gangster like Jack Nicholson in Batman in the beginning... or do you think he really will be the Joker right from the start? Interesting thing to think about. source - filmstalker, reever, superherohype
