3. Michael Jai White - Jax

Here's one actor who crucially needs to be cast in the reboot, and presumably will be, given how he has already starred in Tancharoen's short films as Jax. Despite being older than most of the cast, you wouldn't know it by looking at White; he is in extraordinarily good shape, and is an accomplished martial artist in his own right, reportedly an expert in 7 different styles. He's also acted in several notable films such as The Dark Knight and Black Dynamite, but perhaps the most passionate response to his work has been that on Rebirth and Legacy; he received considerable acclaim from fans the world over, such that White normally ends up at the top of most of these lists. Jax is admittedly an easy role to cast from a physical perspective, but finding someone who also has the charm and acting talent isn't so simple; White will encompass both the more superficial qualities as well as the dramatic chops his character needs.
