Calling Rob McElhenney a solid option for Johnny Cage a few years ago would have been just as laughable as the series he's known for, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

However, in recent years he has made some considerable changes to himself, and it's turned him from a goofy, likeable comedy actor to a potential Hollywood star if he found the right project to propel him forward.

For anyone unfamiliar with this actor, he rose to prominence thanks to the previously mentioned show Always Sunny - which he created - and is known for being a hilarious goofball. His performances aren't just limited to this series, though, as he's also fantastic in Mythic Quest, The Mindy Project and his guest role in Lost.

While he is easily known for being a comedy actor, there is a severity to him that can work on serious projects. This is even clearer now that he has gone through a vast body transformation, going from an average looking guy to a ripped Hollywood star.
