2. Avengers: Secret Wars
At least in the mega-blockbuster stakes, there's simply no film next year more avidly anticipated than Avengers: Secret Wars.
With the MCU having struggled to re-find its footing post-Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios is hopeful that this year's almost impossibly epic, star-studded Avengers: Doomsday will remind everyone why they fell in love with the franchise in the first place.
In much the same way that Endgame was a direct follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War, Secret Wars will address Doomsday's conclusion - whatever that ends up being.
But considering the title, it's safe to assume that Secret Wars will at least loosely adapt the comic book run of the same name, with the world's greatest heroes being sequestered to Battleworld, presumably at the behest of Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.), to fight one another for... reasons.
It remains to be seen if Secret Wars can live up to the brilliance of the better Avengers movies and avoid devolving into a chaotic mess, but the Russo Brothers' track record in this arena speaks for itself.
