UPDATED: Mid-flight on his way to the desert island, Pascal Laugier pulled some strings and changed one of his picks. Apparently Mike heard his last movie pick wrong during our interview and he's dropped the Toto DVD from the skies, after a panic that he would be without Richard Loncraine's Red Circle (The Haunting of Julia) starring Mia Farrow. We've arranged for the DVDs to be swapped by the time he gets there, we couldn't see him go without one of his favourite movies. We are trying to get reasonings out of him, so this article may be updated again!

Pascal Laugier is the director of
Martyrs, the horror movie that has took his home country by storm and is released in the U.K. today. The movie is released STV in the States this April because no U.S. distributor would dare pick it up. Laugier is currently developing a reboot of the
Hellraiser franchise at Dimension Films for the Weinsteins. But if he was stuck on a desert island with only five movies and a dvd player, he would take with him...

Mike Edwards interviewed Laugier for his horror movie Martyrs this week, where he put the Movie Castaway to him. You can also read Mike's review of the film,
HERE! Due to time constraints, we couldn't get the reasonings out of him but we plan to next time!
Movie Castaway runs every Friday where those with links to the film industry let us know which five films they would take with them if they had to stay on a desert island.
